Join us in saying NO to Domestic Violence and
YES to Respectful Relationships
Event Description:
Adelaide's respectful walk to say No to Domestic Violence & YES to Respectful Relationships.
This Rotary initiative involves many Clubs from around South Australia, as well as organisations that work directly with victims and survivors of domestic violence. It goal is to raise awareness of the issue and its devastating consequences, while promoting positive change in community attitudes.
The Walk will again be a peaceful, non-confrontational, non-political event to offer the wider community an insight into key signs of Domestic Violence & Coercive Control against Women • Men • Children.
Participants in the walk are encouraged to bring some non-perishable groceries or household essentials that can be passed on to organisations that help survivors to rebuild their lives. There will be a table in Victoria Square accepting donations.
