Volunteer Product Drop-off Table Helpers Appreciated
Shifts to suit you between these times appreciated.
It's very rewarding knowing your volunteer time makes such a huge difference to people barely able to keep their lives together.

Helping Families and Individuals doing it tough

Event Description:

Each month, our Club members love the support of the wider community passionate about helping people struggling to survive during these harsh 'cost-of-living' economic times.

People often hear of the Homeless, and our Club does work with our Partner Charities to support these needy recipients.

But less known, are the vast number of families, often with children, struggling to put food on the table as they battle to keep a roof over their heads. Both rental and mortgage payments adding huge pressure to their family's weekly unavoidable costs.

NON-PERISHABLE GROCERIES are the focus of Share the Care

Many of the donors drop into this IGA Supermarket and simply add an extra item or two to their shop visit.

They then donate it to our Club collection table on the way out.

When in store, customers often take advantage of a wide range of non-perishable grocery items on special that day. A great way to stretch their donation to support our Share The Care project even further!

We don't ask people for a lot - even one extra item added to their expected shop, makes a great difference.

• Household Cleaning products
• Pet Food and supplies
... daily items we take for granted

Other passionate people make a special trip to our drop off table, because they've founds some items at home that they're happy to donate. Often, it's people tidying up their pantry!

All good quality, in date donations are appreciated. But because we don't have refrigeration available, no perishable items please on these days.
