A fantastic day for Rotary Adelaide Central sizzling sausages at Bunnings Mile End on Sunday 24 July.
Thank you to all of our customers. We basically sold out by 4 in the arvo!
Thank You also to the friendly Bunnings Mile End team who always help us out with a smile! 100% of every sale on the day is retained by our Club, making a big difference to our Club's fundraising efforts.
This was only the 2nd Day that new $3.50 pricing for the sausages was implemented by Bunnings, and our customers actually seemed relieved after 15 years at the old price, that the price had gone up!
All up, we sold 60kg of snags; went through 45 loaves of bread and 20kg of onions. I think our BBQ could be smelt as far away as the Adelaide CBD!
A fantastic team of members and 'Friends of Rotary' helped out on the roster during the day. A true production line of jobs had our team constantly busy to keep up with the line of customers. Everyone had a tonne of fun.
