COVID-19 may have delayed the announcement, but this Award is certainly well deserved by this energetic and irrepressible woman!

Rotarian Cathy Chong, known affectionately by many as “Auntie Cathy”, has had a long and illustrious nursing career before dedicating herself to volunteering in retirement.

Her community involvements are extensive and currently include the following positions:

• Youth Services Director, Rotary Club of Adelaide Central, and Coordinator of the Club’s Central Market food collection program assisting the homeless.
• President, Chinese Welfare Services Inc
• Justice of the Peace for South Australia
• Board Member, Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation
• Ambassador, OzAsia Festival
• Founder and President of Sukeenang SA Hainan Assoc.
