Here's why this Raffle is so critical right now:-

WHAT IS A GREEN DROUGHT?

A green drought happens when crops and pastures look healthy but lack enough moisture beneath the surface, meaning they can't grow properly. It's invisible, yet devastating.

IMPACT ON FARMERS

Despite appearances, crops like hay for livestock, wheat, barley and canola struggle to grow due to inadequate soil moisture. This leads to poor yields and lower income for farmers who are already facing tough times.

LIVESTOCK STRUGGLES

Even with green pastures, livestock feed quality suffers, leading to malnutrition and higher costs for farmers who need to buy extra feed to sustain their herds.

FINANCIAL STRAIN

Farmers are already under pressure. Green droughts mean higher costs for water, feed and equipment, while incomes drop because crops don't yield as expected.
